We are delighted to announce that Francesca Martinez, highly acclaimed tv personality, comedian, author and disability rights activist will be performing in Gibraltar on the 11th July 2014 as part of “Gibraltar Pride 2014”. Francesca will be bringing to Gibraltar her well known comedy show “What The **** Is Normal?!” which will take place at 22:00 in the Aurora Ballroom onboard the Sunborn Hotel.

12 July 8:15PM "We Are One" Street Parade from Piazza

We are pleased to announce that on the 12 July 2014 Gibraltar's "We Are One" street parade will be taking place.

We want to make this a celebration of our individualities whilst embracing and sharing pride in the harmony that unites us. Older generations, physically and mentally challenged citizens, the young, different cultures, ethnic groups, LGBT communities, our different faiths, and other sectors come and join our Pride march.

Educational School Project - Competition on Equality

Autumn 2014

Jointly with the Department of Education, Gibraltar Pride 2014 will be organising a school competition that involves our younger generations whilst raising awareness on equality and diversity.

Comprehensive school students aged 11-15 will be invited to take part in a competition where entrants are invited to produce an essay, poem, drawing, sculpture, visual media piece or a musical piece around the famous quote from Nelson Mandela “For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others”.
